Trumpet the bloodhound won Westminster’s crown for 2022, making him the first of his breed to do so in the 145 years of history of the event. The show, which usually takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, was relocated last year due to the Pandemic to a location in Lyndhurst.
He triumphed against six other dogs, including a Lakeland terrier, a French bulldog, a German shepherd, a Maltese, an English setter, and a Samoyed.
