If you have applied for a Canadian Visa, you should appear the scheduled medical examination. You can give the exam before(pre-medical) or after(upfront medical) you’ve applied for the Visa. Plus, you will also have an option to wait till a medical request from IRCC at your convenience. However, the latter is less recommended. Performing the medical exam by yourself will shorten the Visa processing time somehow.

Three places in Nepal offer an approved medical exam for Canada.
- IOM, Maharajgung
- Travel and Mountain Medicine Centre, Sorhakhutte
- IOM Migration Health Department, Damak
Since the medical exam at TMMC, Sorhakhutte is comparatively affordable, I recommend everyone to take your medical examination at this place.
